Flat racing is a type of horse racing where no jumps are required and the race is run on a level racecourse, this can be either on turf, dirt or an all-weather surface. Most of the big flat races are run in the summer months when the ground is firmer. The British flat season includes the 5 classics, 1,000 Guineas Stakes, 2,000 Guineas Stakes, The Oaks, The Derby and the St Leger Stakes. We have stats and trends for all the big races including races from the Royal Ascot festival, we will be adding all group 1-3 races in the coming months.
